After several months of waiting, I received that phone call confirming that I was accepted in the best job in the world for me, and that requires me to relocate to the city. My folks and I have been living in the same house ever since I was born, and it would be great to start anew in a new place, one filled with more opportunities and possibilities. My dad has just recently retired from his job, and is ready to enjoy his retirement years with mom. As for me, I am ready and very willing to let them live the good life. It’s about time I give back, and this time be the one to take care of them and give them the comfort they deserve in their twilight years.

A few weeks after I got the confirmation on that dream job, I set an appointment with my new secretary in helping me find a place, not only for me but for my folks. Sure, for most part of the year starting next month they will be busy traveling because I have booked them to tours and trips to visit friends and other relatives in many different cities worldwide. That is my anniversary gift to them this year. Anyway, after scouting around for good but affordable places, I chose this great apartment with a view of the lake. It’s just perfect. The price is not that high, I think it is reasonable enough for the great place we are getting. I’m even getting it fully furnished, designed by one of the city’s top interior designers. The company seem to want only the best in everything.

When I visited the place again over the weekend, I found it fully furnished, ready for occupancy. The overall interiors left me breathless.
